I finally did it! After months of going back and forth, I deleted my LinkedIn account. I was an early subscriber before the platform became a Microsoft asset. At the time we were sharing ideas, innovations and exposing our ‘achievements. Slowly it became a marketing tool, highlighting excessive self-promotion, “humble brag” culture, generating a feeling of mediocre superficiality of the platform. I became worse with overall use of AI.
All and all it started to have an impact on my blood pressure.
For now on, I will use this blog for posting the juice of my mind and relay it true BlueSky (@walhornknight.bsky.social) and Twitter (OlivierPanhuys1)…this one, I am not sure I will keep it long since it became a lousy piece of trash.
